ABOUT RHONDA
Rhonda Ashby is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer with deep roots in New Mexico and extensive experience in obstetric ultrasound. Her path into sonography led her to work in rural obstetric care, where she gained valuable experience serving patients and families in communities throughout the state.
Rhonda later transitioned into maternal-fetal medicine, expanding her expertise in specialized imaging for high-risk pregnancies. She joined New Mexico Sonographics in 2020 and holds credentials in OB/GYN and Fetal Echocardiography.
HER APPROACH TO CARE
Rhonda believes patient education is an important part of the ultrasound experience. She takes time to help patients understand what is happening throughout their examination while creating a welcoming and supportive environment during what can sometimes be an emotional or uncertain experience.
She values the opportunity to combine her technical expertise with compassionate care, helping patients feel informed and comfortable while providing the detailed imaging needed to support their maternal-fetal medicine care.
