About Dr. Doyle
Dr. Nora Doyle is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with extensive experience in high-risk pregnancy care, medical education, research, and academic leadership.
Originally from Massachusetts and raised in Watertown, New York, Dr. Doyle began her academic journey studying education at SUNY Cortland before graduating with honors from Sonoma State University in California, where she was also named Female Athlete of the Year for her accomplishments in Track and Field.
Dr. Doyle earned her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She went on to complete fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston while also earning a Master of Science in Clinical Research.
Throughout her career, Dr. Doyle has continued to pursue advanced training in areas including point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), patient safety, patient-centered care, and physician leadership. She has held faculty and leadership appointments at medical schools and health systems across the country and has served in roles including Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Director, Medical Director of a Perinatal Center, Director of Ultrasound, Fellowship Program Director, and Assistant Dean.
Dr. Doyle has also dedicated much of her career to educating and mentoring future physicians. Her academic appointments have included Emory School of Medicine, the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, and the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where she served as Assistant Dean for Ultrasound Education and Assistant Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs. She also served as Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Fellowship Program Director at UT Health San Antonio and currently serves as Assistant Dean for Clinical Education at Touro University Nevada.
An active author, researcher, and presenter, Dr. Doyle has contributed to more than 60 abstracts and articles and has presented her work both nationally and internationally. She has received numerous awards and distinctions recognizing her excellence in teaching and advocacy for residents.
Dr. Doyle is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is an active member of professional organizations including ACOG, APGO, AIUM, and SMFM.
Teaching & Leadership
Dr. Doyle has dedicated much of her career to educating and mentoring future physicians. She has held numerous academic and leadership roles, including Fellowship Program Director, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Director, and Assistant Dean.
Beyond the Practice
Outside of medicine, Dr. Doyle enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
