Karen Serrano is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer specializing in OB/GYN ultrasound and fetal echocardiography. Her work focuses on advanced prenatal imaging and fetal cardiac assessment, supporting physicians and families throughout pregnancy.
As part of the New Mexico Sonographics team, Karen is committed to providing precise, high-quality imaging while creating a compassionate and supportive experience for patients. She understands the importance of both technical excellence and patient comfort, particularly for families navigating a high-risk pregnancy.
HER APPROACH TO CARE
Karen approaches each examination with attention to detail, compassion and a patient-centered mindset. She works closely with physicians and the care team to obtain the detailed imaging needed to support accurate evaluation and exceptional maternal-fetal care.

BEYOND THE PRACTICE
Outside of work, Karen enjoys staying active and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family is an important part of her life, and she especially values the time she gets to spend with them.
