ABOUT SONIA
Sonia McClellan brings nearly two decades of experience in diagnostic medical sonography to New Mexico Sonographics. Throughout her career, she has developed a diverse imaging background and holds ARDMS registries in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast and Vascular Ultrasound.
After gaining experience across multiple areas of sonography, Sonia transitioned into maternal-fetal medicine, where she has continued to expand her knowledge and skills in specialized obstetric imaging. She is committed to continued learning and providing high-quality imaging to support patients and their care teams.
HER APPROACH TO CARE
Sonia values the opportunity to care for patients during such an important time in their lives. She strives to provide a comfortable, compassionate experience while maintaining the attention to detail and quality imaging that are essential in maternal-fetal medicine.
Her years of experience across multiple ultrasound specialties give Sonia a broad perspective that she brings to each patient examination.
BEYOND THE PRACTICE
Outside of work, Sonia enjoys spending time with her son and grandchildren, cooking and watching movies with her family. She also loves dancing, working on puzzles and getting outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include hiking near Las Cruces and paddleboarding at Caballo Lake.
